So these are the three most rumored features that will make the 2018 iPad Pro a true productivity based computing device.

iPad Pro 2018: Face ID

A majority of renders suggest that the iPad Pro 2018 will be a bezel-less tablet. Apple will ditch Touch ID from the iPad Pro 2018 and instead rely on Face ID for unlocking the iPad. Consequently, the iPad Pro 2018 will come with a notch that won’t be visible due to the massive size of iPad. This notch will house the TrueDepth camera system that enables Face ID.

It is worth noting that, due to massive dimensions of the iPad Pro 2018 the notch won’t annoy users. Infact, this notch won’t be even visible due to the small size of bezels. A few reports even suggest that Face ID on the iPad Pro will work both in portrait and landscape mode.

iPad Pro 2018: 4K HDR Video Output

The new iPad Pro 2018 will come with a USB-C port. This port will help improve charging and data transfer speeds. In addition to that, this capable USB-C port may even help the iPad Pro 2018 to output 4K HDR video to external displays.

According to Rambo, a dedicated option in the Settings menu will help users to control resolution, HDR, brightness and other settings when the iPad is connected with an external display.
