iPhone X was both criticized and appreciated by tech enthusiasts across the globe. The $1000 Apple flagship introduced the concept of housing the front-facing camera and other sensors in a notch. Well, it’s not even been a year almost every major Android OEM now has a phone with a notch based display. The Internet is now flooded with iPhone X Plus leaks, rumors, and high resolution renders. So here’s everything you need to know about the iPhone X Plus.
iPhone X Plus: Design And Display
The iPhone X Plus will inherit metal and glass-based design ergonomics from its predecessor. We can expect the iPhone X Plus to offer an edge-to-edge 6.5-inch OLED display and Apple may provide a shatterproof screen for protection. Apart from that, the flagship smartphone will come with 2nd generation face ID that will offer improvement in speed and reliability. iPhone X Plus may also offer a vertical triple camera setup similar to the Huawei P20 Pro. Lastly, Apple may reintroduce the TouchID as an in-display fingerprint sensor. Few reports even suggest that the new iPhone’s will support Apple Pencil.
iPhone X Plus: Performance And Storage
A majority of iOS devices never face any issue in terms of performance. The major reason behind this stability in performance is the seamless integration between hardware and software manufactured by Apple. The iPhone X Plus will be powered by the unreleased A12 Bionic chipset coupled with M12 motion co-processor. This new processor will be faster and more power efficient as compared to the previous generation. We may notice a significant improvement in the graphics department as Apple is focusing towards AR and VR content. Furthermore, we even witnessed the various developments in the AR applications and games at the WWDC 2018. Lastly, Apple may stick to the last year’s 64GB and 256GB storage variants.
iPhone X Plus: Software And Camera
iPhone X Plus will run on the latest iOS 12 out of the box. The software is clean and offers dozens of new features including the much-awaited redesigned notification panel. iPhone’s offer one of the best in the industry camera performance and each year Apple improvises the camera set up in one or the other way. This time around we can expect a slight increment in the camera hardware department and significant improvement in the software processing department on the iPhone X Plus. Furthermore, if Apple adopts the triple lens system the device will offer an improvement in low-lighting situations and HDR.
The iPhone X Plus will be launched on 12th September at Steve Jobs theater in Cupertino.
Lastly, the new iPhone X Plus will offer improvement in the charging speeds and Apple may include a fast charger within the box. Do share your thoughts and opinions on the iPhone X Plus in the comments section below.
