LG announced its latest flagship offering the LG V40 ThinQ in Korea. The major highlight of the LG V40 ThinQ is the triple rear camera setup and dual front camera setup, that sums up to a total of five camera sensors on the LG V40 ThinQ.
Apart from the impressive camera setup, the smartphone also packs flagship grade internals. So here’s everything you need to know about the LG V40 ThinQ.
LG V40 will sport a complete glass construction coupled with Matt finish on the rear side. Well, LG claims that using the sandblasting technique the phone will have a “silky” feel. The form-factor of the LG V40 ThinQ will be similar to the predecessor LG V30 and the smartphone will be available in Platinum Gray, Carmine Red, and Moroccan Blue colour variants.
LG hasn’t unveiled the front side of the phone, but the smartphone will sport a 6.4-inch OLED display.
As for internals, the LG V40 will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. This LG flagship will offer 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage on the base variant. The LG V40 ThinQ will be backed up by a 3300mAh battery. Lastly, LGV40 will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box that can be upgraded to Android 9.0 Pie.
The most impressive feature of the LG V40 ThinQ will be its triple rear camera setup. As of now, LG hasn’t unveiled the specifications about these cameras, but we can expect them to highly capable. One of the sensors might be dedicated for low-light photos, depth sensing and Portrait photos. While the third sensor might act as a wide-angle lens.

The LG V40 will be officially launched in Seoul on October 4, at 10 AM. While the global launch of the phone will be on October 3, at 5 PM ET in New York. The LG V40 ThinQ may retail in the $699 to $799 price range.
