5 Reasons Why OnePlus 6T Is Better Than The Google Pixel 3 XL

OnePlus finally announced its latest flagship offering the OnePlus 6T. The new OnePlus 6T offers incremental updates over the OnePlus 6. OnePlus hasn’t left any room for complaint in terms of performance and the overall hardware on the smartphone is impressive for the price.

These are the five reasons why OnePlus 6T outperforms the much higher priced Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL.

OnePlus 6T: Better Notch Implementation

The first and most obvious difference between the OnePlus 6T and Pixel 2 XL is the notch implementation. OnePlus 6T features a water drop style notch design that consumes a very insignificant portion of the display. On the other hand, the weird notch on the Pixel 2 XL accompanied with a thick chin on the bottom is not at all visually appealing.

OnePlus 6T: In-Display Fingerprint Sensor

The next advanced feature that helps OnePlus 6T standout from the crowd is the In-Display fingerprint sensor. Hiding the fingerprint sensor under the display helps maintain consistency in the design aesthetics both on the front and rear side of the display. Well, Pixel 2 still relies on a physical fingerprint sensor.

OnePlus 6T: Performance

Performance is the major selling point of every OnePlus smartphone. The OnePlus 6T is no exception to that. This flagship-killer smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor and comes with a minimum of 6GB RAM and a maximum of 8GB RAM. On the other hand, the Pixel 2 XL only has 4GB RAM.

OnePlus 6T will offer better RAM management and it can cache a greater amount of apps. Consequently, everything from app launching times to smartphone animation will be more real to life on the OnePlus 6T.

OnePlus 6T: More Storage

Google’s flagship smartphones i.e. the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are only available in 64GB and 128GB storage options. While the base variant of the OnePlus 6T comes with 128GB storage and the higher-end variant has much higher 256GB storage.

Well, if your prefer higher storage and store a majority of your data on a smartphone than OnePlus 6T is a better smartphone.

OnePlus 6T: Pricing

All of the above-mentioned features on the OnePlus 6T are available at a much cheaper price as compared to the Google Pixel 2 XL. The OnePlus 6T starts at $549 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant which is nearly $400 less than the 128GB storage variant of the Pixel 2 XL.

OnePlus 6T outperforms the Pixel 2 XL in multiple aspects. That said, Pixel 2 XL still has a better camera and offers an OLED display rather than the AMOLED panel on the new OnePlus 6T.
