The best part about this text editor is that it lets you code side by side. This allows the programmer to resolve conflicts before merging changes.

Not only that this editor also allows you to perform extensive customization ranging from key bindings menus and themes. You can also tweak them by editing Sublime Git’s code through JSON files to suit your workflow which is quite simple.

This software also has some advanced tools which facilitate the user in a much greater way. For instance, the “Blame” tool used for root cause analysis. Now you must be thinking what is that? Well, this tool displays the author name, timestamp, and even every commit line for every code change in the project.

The developer of “Sublime Merge” Mr. Jon Skinner noted on “Sublime’s blog” that there are no more limitations on using the free evaluation version of the app.

Though individual licenses cost $99 with the facility like unlimited usage and of course three years of guaranteed updates might confuse the developers in making selection for their text editor. As there are other popular options as well such as Visual Studio code, Gitkraken, and Atom.

At last, the choice is yours but if you want to give it a try then- get sublime merge
