As everybody knows that Microsoft Store doesn’t enjoy the reputation of a go-to distribution platform by many developers and users, but it still holds a small share in games and apps.
In the past few months, it is clearly evident that various popular releases such as Adobe Photoshop Elements 2019, tidal, and Amazon Alexa made their first debut in the store.
And some of them were a great hit.
Recently Python 3.7 made its first appearance in the Microsoft Store and is expected to be a great hit but it brought some limitations.
According to The app’s dedicated FAQ page, it is built for “interactive use only, for example, by students”, and that it’s currently regarded as “unstable”.
Some other known Issues are as follows:
- Currently, the py.exe launcher cannot be used to start Python when it has been installed from the Microsoft Store.
- Because of restrictions on Microsoft Store apps, Python scripts may not have full write access to shared locations such as TEMP and the registry.
With that being said, it was all regarding the availability of Python for Windows 10 in Microsoft Store.
